Golfing pinup girl illustration

Golf pinup girl

Another pinup illustration. Classic scenario of girls clothes slipping off slightly , ala peek-a-boo, with caricatured features.

As far as I know, the original purpose of a pinup girl was to remind our fine members of the armed forces of the beautiful things they where over seas fighting for. I am illustrating and posting these images for that same purpose. I hope that a Marine, Soldier or Sailor finds these images and it makes their day.

Paul Teutul Sr. Orange County Choppers illustrated wallpaper

June 24th, 2008

Here is the latest caricature I’ve created in the studio. My work load lately has not allowed me to take the time to create illustrations like this so it was a welcome change.

I’ve actually created a piece for the boys from Orange county before. In 2005, my caricature of the teutuls appeared on the cover of the Orange County Choppers Calendar as well as a poster.

This illustration of Paul Teutul Sr. is 1024×768 set up to work well as a wallpaper.

Party caricatures at corporate and private events.

party caricatures

I’ve been entertaining, creating party caricatures at a few private events lately. Click on the image in this post to see a larger example of a few of my favorites. I think people enjoy my caricatures because they’re not too exaggerated in a negative way and I have a tendency to make people “belly laugh” during the process.

Call the number in the example or email me for rates and availability. I’d like to hear from you.

Rios Girl Pinup model illustration, Poster and Giclee.

June 11th, 2008

I’ve been creating stylized pinup model illustrations lately and I’ve enjoyed the process tremendously. These illustrations, while sexy, are really more about celebrating the beauty of the All America Girl in an American, fantasy scenario. I think my motivation stems from being in the service and far away from home. Remembering all the good things I had to look forward to. Baseball, Football and my Sweetheart.

I am producing a limited run poster for each of these girls right now (20.5×14.25″)  I will be selling them  for $15.00 U.S. each + tax , shipping and handling. Also, a limited number of giclee prints will be available at almost any custom size.(call for giclee pricing or to order a poster) U.S. orders only.

grafixjam.com update

May 30th, 2008

It’s been a long time coming but we’ve finally updated our site. While other companies are creating whiz bang sites with movement, sound and so on, we decided to do something really basic and functional. My idea was to let the art samples be the star and not an over produced web site. I think people that are looking for what I do will appreciate the large, quick loading thumbnails, easy navigation and simplicity.

If you’re in the market for caricatures for your publication, monster characters for a game or show or graphics for your next trade show, you’ll find what you’re looking for here. It’s a cross section of graphics and illustration that give a small taste of our abilities and we hope it gives you an appetite for more.

USMC pin up girl

marine corp pin up girl

I’ve always been a fan of pin up girl art, but never really tried my hand at it. This is really the first pin up girl I’ve ever really drawn. Of course, as I was in the Marine Corps back in the 80’s, I decided to make my first one a Marine girl. I hope some fellow Jarhead some place finds her and it makes his day.

I have some other themes I’d like to develop with pin up girls. Will post anything worth seeing here.

Sarah Jessica Parker of Sex and the City

Sarah Jessica Parker of Sex and the City

I created this caricature of Sarah Jessica Parker a little while back. I plan on illustrating the rest of the women from the show in the near future.

Sarah is too much fun to illustrate. Check out the purse. She always dresses to the nines in a far out funky way.

Hells Kitchens’ Chef Ramsay caricature

April 25th, 2008

I thought I’d do a caricature of Gordon Ramsay from the TV show Hells Kitchen. It seems to be the “recipe” for reality TV any more to invite someone from the UK over to give a bunch of underachievers hell, so in a lot of ways, “Hells Kitchen”  is a perfect name for the show.

I decided to not make him look intimidating in this caricature. I just wanted to capture that goofy look you sometimes catch on his face when he slips out of character.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards. Rolling Stones caricature

April 11th, 2008

The Stones are without a doubt the greatest rock-n-roll band that ever took the stage. What other band has filled arenas year after year across the globe for as many years has the Stones have. I say Rock on!

This caricature presented some unique challenges. I’ve never been so acutely aware before how much an individuals hair style makes or breaks capturing there likeness. Mick’s hair is as much of an icon as his lips. I just never realized it before.
