Offical NHL licensed, signed print “Original Six.”

autographed original six print

I was approached last year by someone in Gordie Howe’s camp to illustrate this “Original Six Jersey” piece. My copy of an offical signed piece just came the other day and I thought I’d share it with you. As you can see, I haven’t had time to get it framed just yet.

I picked early 60’s style jerseys to illustrate. I just liked the style and I thought it was the right era to illustrate. I guess I felt they would be relateable to most people under the age of 90.

It’s a keeper !

I believe this piece is available through “LOJO Sports” in Montreal Canada. Their number is 514-487-1666

I’ll post if I find other places to get your hands on one.

Are you ready for some football? Football theme Shirt designs with attitude!

Great Design for any football fan.

Green Bay packers shirt

I did this one because Green Bay Packers fans have to be some of the best fans in the world.

Sample of some of the great shirts available.

You are looking at the first in a series of football theme graphic T’s I am designing. While there are several designs on the market to chose from, none I have found have the intensity and illustrated attitude that I felt football fans deserved. This illustration features a back flying into the endzone as he growls and snarls his way for six points. As you can see in the image above, there are several shirt styles to chose from. You or your favorite “armchair quarterback” will be the envy of everyone at your next tailgate party with these shirts on. Wether you’re a NFL fan, big ten fan or a “future fan” = baby gear too, I’ve got something for you.

New football t-shirt designs coming soon.

Halloween is just around the corner. (Witch poster, and wallpaper)

Happy Halloween witch

Boys and girls, ladies and gentalmen. It’s time to start thinking about Halloween. I can’t beleive it myself but it’s just 40 days away.

I remember the excitment of Halloween as a kid. The candy, the pranks, the usually rainy nights running the streets, free from parents for a few hours to see how many bad desicsions we could make. Oh what fun.

I created this witch in a not so typical style. The Diana Ross hair with too much makeup, pretty eyes that beg your to trust her.  ”Come hither little boy and let me cast you a spell…”

This piece is available now as a HUGE, Six foot tall, POSTER at my Zazzle store. It would make a great center piece on your wall to set the tone for your Halloween party. can alsoo be purchased smaller. (CLICK HERE FOR DIRECT LINK)

John Force illustration

john force

I created this illustration of John Force the other day and I thought I’d post it for the world to see. Of course I’m a fan of drag racing. I grew up in a small town in Michigan. Central Michigan Dragway is the local hot spot, maybe the only hot spot at the time. My first paying art gig as a kid came from the dragway, repainting the signs that had been there since the 60’s. I remember the 5 gallon bucket of Winston Red™ and spending hours out in my garage paying attention to every detail.

I’ve had wonderful opportunitets to create racing related art for a few years, which isn’t always easy as I don’t have a mooresville address. I’ve desinged logos, marketing and promo materials for Ernie Irvan & Safety Solutions. I desinged and produced graphics for Mike Wallaces’ car (33)-Daytona 500, 2002. I call it being blessed with opportunity and I don’t take any of it for granted.

Take a look at the caricatures of Tony Stewart and Dale Jr .

Racing is a great outlet for an artist. Plenty of opportunity to be creative if you like high energy graphics. I’d love to do even more myself.

Thank you card-kitty and mouse

Here is a thank you card design that is sure to make any recipients day. Designed to be cute but sophisticated enough to not be “kid stuff.” Image of a kitty and mouse receiving a portion of milk from an unseen person has deeper symbolic meaning than just being a cute image and will be sure to let anyone know how much your appreciate their kindness and generosity.

Ted, White and Blue. The Nugent Manifesto

Ted, white and blue

The UPS driver just dropped off my advance copies of Ted Nugents’ new book, Ted White and Blue- The Nugent Manifesto.  I plan on reading it over the weekend but at first glance it looks like Ted has done it again. A healthy helping of the truth with horse pill sized side of stop complaining and get your priorities straight, stop over taxing me and wasting my dollars.

This read promises to be the literary equivalent to a front row seat to one of his concerts. “You’ll never be the same after.”

Thanks Ted for using my art on the cover of your book. I’m honored. The book jacket has beautifully embossed raised letters and the print color and quality are excellent. I’m sure it will make a great addition to anyones collection.

Best of luck with it Ted.

Superman illustration

superman flying over earth

I’m a huge fan of all things Superman. So I felt it my duty, almost a calling to pay homage to the ultimate super hero with my own version of the “Man of Steel.”

This illustration depicts Superman flying high over earth looking straight at the viewer of this illustration as if to say, “I’m coming to get you!”

The question has been asked, “does the world need Superman?” In my estimation we always will. He represents a beacon of hope, good will to all and the best of the American spirit.

sophia loren caricature

sophia loren caricature

I remember in my youth being mesmerized by the great Sophia Loren. Her exotic look and grace held everyone in a hypnotic trance while she moved across the screen.

This is my first caricature of her. I plan to do another in the near future that captures that impossibly perfect smile.
