What is National Doodle Day you ask?

As part of NF Awareness month, celebrity doodles will be available for auction on eBay from May 7th to 17th, 2009.

These doodles have a very important aim: the funds they raise will benefit NF, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing support to individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF).

Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that affects one in every 2,500 births. NF is more common than Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Huntingtonís Disease combined. Funds raised from the Doodle Day auction will go to support education, advocacy, coalitions, and research for treatments and a cure.

To learn more about NF, please visit www.nfinc.org.

I am contributing two original “doodles” to the cause this year. You can see my doodles here. If anything, what makes my art rare is “I don’t sell original illustrations” I only sell digital art so this is a rare opportunity to get an original piece. There are some amazing celebrities contributing too. Below  is a list of a few. As you can see, there’s something for everyone, so Mark your calendar for MAY 7 and go to ebay and bid as much as you can for these one of a kind pieces.

Not the Cheeto Bandito…

Here is my latest. No it’s not the Cheeto Bandito (Yes I know it was the Frito Bandito… work with me), but he is a Cheeto Bandit on the run with his latest score, and I think he’s a lot of fun. This image took me about eight hours to complete. I wanted to do something fun and commercial. The cheese that goes crunch came to mind.

Life is a little crazy but I’m keeping possitive. If you know anyone that could use some creative assistance, give me a shout. I’m ready for some fresh work with and for other possitive people.

Hope you enjoy.
