So why did I do a caricature of Michael Jackson? Well, I just liked the idea of drawing someone that was interesting, different. No statements being made.  Just wanted to do something I had not done before.

You have to admit, he’s not  your average Joe. In this illustration I exagerated the mouth/teeth quite a bit. The reason, That’s what Michael was know for. If you think about it, off stage he was all smiles and he had the voice of a “girl butterfly.” All “I love you” etc. On stage he would put on this angry face, scream etc… He provided the world with music and unbelievable statements. So the mouth, to me, was Michael. Sure he could dance his butt off.. but so can 100,000 other people. His voice/mouth and the words that came out,  made people stop and look at the dancing…performance, etc…

My good friend and host of the nationally syndicated radio show “Chop Shop“, Steve Black, is holding an event at Darkside Acres in Jonesville, Michigan on September 26th. This is not only a chance to get the wits scared out of you but also a chance to be a part of setting a Guinness World Record.  Dress up like a zombie and take part in the historic, fun event.

This Event will be bennifiting “the Sabrina Black Foundation” which helps families devastated by cancer.

TUCO

TUCO

Those of you that know me, know that I love westerns. My favorite “bad guy” of all time has to be Tuco from the Movie, The good, the bad and the ugly. This character is just amazing to me. You love to hate him and you hate to love him. He get’s beatin down over and over and keeps coming back for more. Fearless, crazy, and a blast to watch.

This is my “afternoon off” pencil sketch of a “Tuco Like” character. I just wanted to capture his attitude.
